I want to caution you. Unless a person has a fundamental grasp of the basics, they will have difficulty tracking the reasoning as they follow along. What they can grasp will be limited. One has to understand the basics in order to go forward for more understanding. It takes a simple childlike faith in Jesus Christ. If you ignore the fundamentals of math, biology, accounting, or any science; you will come up with the wrong conclusion. Only by sticking with the fundamentals will you come up with truth.

The very foundation of the Christian Faith is Jesus Christ, the divine eternal Son of God. No matter where you might launch into the Christian faith,if you have missed Jesus Christ, you have missed it all. Christianity is a relationship with the Holy God of the Universe through Jesus Christ. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Him. He is the Creator.

Look again at the Redemption & Peace web page. You must understand what Erwin Lutzer talks about in "Victory" Parts, 1, 2, & 3. The heart and power of Christianity are the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. John 3:36 says "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." It boils down to a matter of choice. Do you want Jesus Christ in your life and want to follow Him? Or do you reject Jesus Christ and want to follow your own personnel will? Do you want to do Life your way? We all make a choice.

Concepts of Christianity are spiritually discerned, they make no sense without the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

Do you realize that you are a sinner in need of a savior? Have you realized that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for the penalty of the sins you committed. He arose from the dead on the third day and is now at the right hand of God at His heavenly throne. Have you asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of those sins, save you, and help you to follow Him?
