Merry Christmas 2016!
Merry Christmas 2016!

We just had to give a Christmas message to all our KCDI friends this Christmas morning. GOD LOVES YOU!. Many people are familiar with the birth of Christ in a manger that is told about in Luke Chapter 2:1-20. We wanted to add just a few thoughts in what God accomplished with the birth of His son Jesus Christ on earth. God gave us the greatest gift - Jesus Christ His Son - to save us from our sins and restore us to a way to fellowship with Him one on one.
1. God makes his existence overwhelming in evidence, yet He chose not to prove himself to unbelievers. He wants the allegiance of those who just simply believe what he says about His self in the Bible and those who follow Him. Each person makes their own choice for eternity.
Hebrews 6:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
2. God wants us to just believe what he says in His Word, the Holy Bible. A childlike simple faith is what he is looking for.
Luke 18:16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
17 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
3. Through our faith in Christ,, our position of fellowship with Him is restored and each day is a new adventure.
Lamentations 3:22 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
4. What does God want from us?
John 6:28 Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"
29 Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."
When we have Jesus as our Savior he saves us completely to the uttermost. It is not us holding on to Him, it is Him holding on to us.
John 6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.
40 For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
5. What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its simplest form.
!st Corinthians 15:15:1 Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.
2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
6. Is anyone excluded from being saved? No!
Ezekiel 18:23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? 32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
7. When does God give us His Holy Spirit to help us through life.
Ephesians 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.
8. How is a sinful person given the right to come before a Holy Righteous God?
Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.
20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood....
9. What does God see when he looks down on us? He sees us in a loving merciful way, because we trust in His Son Jesus Christ.
Collossians 1:21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.
22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation--
23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
10. For assured direction in your own life, tell others that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Have a wonderful Merry Christmas! God bless you
