Truth! Just what comes to our minds as we think on this concept? Each of our personalities has been shaped as we have taken our steps through this existence. Each of us has experienced thrill, depression, highs, lows, suffering, pain, and euphoria. These experiences have woven into us an outlook and understanding, as we can comprehend it. Some of our understanding turns out to be firm and withstands the test of time, some turns out to be wrong and with time is shown to be nonsense. As we go forward in our existence this becomes very evident.
What about the quality of our life? Do we feel loved, needed, and understood; or do we feel rejected, of no consequence, with an apathetic approach to life. With constructive behavior in time our situation improves, but if we feel that no one cares and nothing matters; in time our behavior leads to destructive actions.
It is very difficult sometimes to research a subject with an open mind, looking for absolute truth. All of us have had our concepts colored by the influences of others – we have been indoctrinated over the years by what has been have said and done in our presence. It is hard to break through these walls that we have constructed around ourselves. If we get out of our boxes we feel threatened and uncomfortable. We want to get back inside as quickly as possible. As we go forward in this discussion, let us try to keep an open mind and with courage seek the absolute truth.
Adventurers through the years have gone into some desolate far away places. What do they find? Even in a remote wilderness they find people groups who worship something; some higher spirit that they believe influences their lives. Each does this in different ways in different places, yet still they know that there is a Supreme Being that needs to be worshiped.

Psalms 19
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.
The animals are born with instincts, their DNA as it builds their minds tells them what to do with such as migrations even though they haven’t been taught.
To believe that this complicated world that we live in came about by eons of time and accidents seems ludicrous. Our universe is orderly and balanced and runs like a precision clock. There has to be a higher mind that created all this complex intricacy.
Psalms 19 continues with the value and blessing of knowing and acting on God’s word.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
To live knowing that the Supreme Being loves us, accepts us, and forgives us; this gives us the ability to live beyond our own abilities and live with the help and blessing of the eternal God.

Isaiah 55:2 Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.
3 Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live.
